Colleagues at Tarmac’s Aberthaw Cement Plant recently put their quiz minds to the test by taking part in ‘The Great Big Castle Quiz.’
The quiz took place at Fonman Castle and raised £265 for the Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales, with 12 Tarmac representatives taking part.
Stuart Escott, manager at Tarmac’s Aberthaw Cement Plant, said: “We thoroughly enjoyed supporting Fonman Castle and the Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales with this event. It was great to get the team together and do something social for a worthy cause.”
Tarmac also donated two £50 gift vouchers as prizes which were won by the highest scoring team and the team with the best name.
Jeremy Webb, food & beverage manager at Fonman Castle, said: “We are very grateful to Tarmac for its support donating prizes and attending the event.
“We hold a quiz every month at Fonman Castle to support a variety of good causes and organisations, as it is important to us to give back to the local community.”
